Disney Packing Guide for Babies & Toddlers

Packing for babies and toddlers when traveling can often feel like you are just trying to take your whole house with you. Babies especially require so much stuff. That's why I decided to put together a Disney packing guide for babies and toddlers so that you are only bringing the things you really need to the most magical place on earth.

Stroller Fan

Florida and even California can get hot! A stroller fan keeps them cool while they are riding around and especially during their nap.

Placemats

You never know when you'll need to stop for a snack and these placemats make it easy to have a clean surface for you kid to eat off of.

Wipes

I love these wipes because you can wipe everything with them! They are 99% water with grapefruit seed extract so they are safe for everything from bums to faces.

ReUSABlE BAGS

One thing kids can't live without is SNACKS! These reusable bags are great for a week at Disney because you can just rewash and use the next day. They are even dishwasher safe.

Diaper Bag

I've tried a lot of diaper bags. This one has some great features for traveling with insulated pockets, great access, lots of pockets and even a phone charging cable. Bonus, it's an inconspicuous bag that won't attract sticky fingers. Don't forget to also get a changing pad. This bag doesn't come with one.

Stroller Lock

I don't use this often but when I do it gives me a lot of peace of mind. Often times at Disney and even Disney Springs, you are leaving your stroller way out of sight. If I plan on leaving my stroller for an extended period of time or in an area that has lots of traffic and no stroller attendant, this lock gives me peace of mind that my stroller will still be there when I return.

Kids Masks

I have had success with a few different masks. The best ones I have found are these Cat & Jack ones. The nose wire helps it from falling down and they are 5 for $12 which is good for the wallet. We are also bringing disposable kids masks we found at Costco.

Cooler Bag

Again, snacks are not optional with children. This cooler bag keeps them cool and easy to carry around. The handle can buckle around your stroller handle bar. Plus the print is gorgeous.

Water Bottles

My life currently revolves around snacks and water bottles. We love these insulated ones from CamelBak that keep your kids water nice and cold all day long! Easy for young ones to drink out of too.

Formula Holder

This formula holder lets you pre-measure and divide formula so that you just pour into a bottle with water and shake. Makes bottles on the go super easy and fast!

Sound machine

My kids have sound machines at home and I find that creating a similar environment on the go is helpful for good sleep. Plus, hotels can be noisy. Though this sound machine isn't the smallest, it is really light so it won't cost you precious luggage pounds.

Pack N PLay

I'm big on good sleep while we are traveling and having my little one sleep in a familiar crib is important to me. Hotel cribs can be uncomfortable and bringing one that smells like home can make all the difference. This Baby Bjorn pack n play is an investment but it comes in at 13 lbs where most cribs are in the upper 20 or 30 lbs. The mattress is also super comfy. If this one is out of your budget, check out Zoe Strollers travel crib.

Jackets

I actually found these Jackets at Uniqlo in Disney Springs and they have been my kids favorites year around. They are light weight and easy to pack but warm enough to used as a top layer. They are also under $9 for toddlers and babies which is a major bonus.

Hair Clips

These little hair clips are great at clipping Mickey ears to little heads. My daughter hates the elastic band that goes under your chin and these have been a useful and cute way to keep her ears on her head.

Potty Seat

If you have a potty training toddler or one that has a hard time going in public places, this potty seat is great! It suctions to a seat and feels nice for little bottoms. A big help while traveling!

Stroller Clip

I use this clip to clip my diaper bag to my stroller handle bar. It allows for easy access to the bag and its Mickey shaped!

Roll Up Bib

These bibs went everywhere with me when my kids were babies. They roll up super small and are easy to pack away. They also wipe clean really easily.

Portable High Chair

This handy little sling turns any normal chair into a high chair! So much easier than looking for a free high chair and lugging it to an available table. It is also great for when you go to family or friend's houses that don't have kids.
